Quotations & Sayings

August 14, 2008

A big hello from Mariam and Fatima!

The latest addition to the site is a page on quotes and sayings written by us. The sayings are based on concepts that have guided us in life and we are thankful these concepts formed before any tough lesson of life. We were gifted with wisdom long before we needed it. A scary title of a book comes to the mind is, ‘Too Soon Old, Too Late Smart’, we are thankful our case has been the opposite.

Once again, you are all welcome to add more quotations on the page and fill up the treasure.

Take Care.

MF Photo Gallery

August 14, 2008

One of the interests we, Mariam and Fatima, share as twins is photography. From the time we were in high school we have been clicking photographs. Thanks to our parents who did not mind the camera in our hands at a very young age. At that time we participated in photography contests organised by Kodak and Minolta and won them, with victory came two more cameras in the house which were in themselves, a great motivation.

Recently some of our photographs were printed on canvas and put on sale in one of the home decor shops, here in Dubai. From our vast collection of photographs, we present some of the unique catches.

Hope you’ll have a nice time looking at them and maybe, put some as your desktop wallpaper. Fingers Crossed!

Introduction

August 14, 2008

This blog was written to give refuge to many thoughts that arise from the heart and descend from the mind. We, Mariam and Fatima or MF Twins, have always enjoyed sharing our wondrous and weird thoughts with each other; now we present them (still not all) to the world to read and review.

Through this blog we present a variety of our work, our article for children, The Friday Class, which is published in a Dubai based magazine fortnightly, some quotations or sayings that express our thoughts, a collection of digital photographs which we have clicked over the past few years and much more.

From our interactions with people we have realized that many people are curious to know about twins; how they think and feel. This blog will also give an insight to how identical twins can be similar and in what ways they are different. Yes, we are just one example… surely a unique one to find.

We are sure our blog will offer you something of your interest. You are welcome to scroll through our posts/pages.
